Experience: 10 yrs
As a career nanny, I began nannying while earning my BS in Child Development at MSU. I have worked as a nanny in MA, VA, & MI. I have over 20 yrs experience with newborns/infants and toddlers/preschoolers. I have recently been a nanny for families with infants to 4-year-olds, as well as children with DS. I raised my 3 children while being active in the PTO, Beaumont Parenting Program, & helping friends with child care needs. I coached gymnastics for 12 years and provided private lessons for special needs children. I also was the Boys' Program Director and HR/Training Manager at Troy Gym. I interact with children in my role on National Ski Patrol. I hold certification in Outdoor Emergency Care, and am current Red Cross CPR. I enjoy being outdoors in all seasons, I have pets, and I lead an active lifestyle. I value creativity, manners, music, and learning through play. My love of children only enhances my extensive experience in caring for them.
We truly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for Pat. For the past eight months, she has cared for our two boys, including our youngest from the time he was a newborn — with more love, patience, and attentiveness than we could have ever hoped for. She stepped into our family during such a special and vulnerable season of life and has been an absolute blessing. She is calm, nurturing, dependable, and so intuitive with our boys. We see a noticeable difference in our toddler on days Pat is with us. The way she plays and interacts with him fills his cup in a unique and special way. In just a few months Pat has become a part of our family. Knowing our children are safe, loved, and genuinely cared for when they’re with her has given us incredible peace of mind. Any family would be beyond lucky to have her.
