I am a mother of two grown children. I have a lifetime of experience caring children from birth through adolescence. I have many years experience in the preschool setting as well 10+ years in a group home environment for at-risk youth. I believe in positive reinforcement and creating an environment where children can succeed. No child enjoys being away from their parents, so my goal is to make their time apart as enjoyable as possible, while providing their parents with the reassurance that their child is being cared for by someone who has "been there" and knows how difficult it is to leave their child in the care of another. We highly recommend Patricia (PJ) G for your childcare needs. She worked with our family in our home four days a week as a childcare provider for our twin daughters, beginning when they were four months old, from October 2019 through November 2024. I was saddened to learn that PJ would be moving out of state to be closer to family. She became like a member of our family, and we will miss her greatly. However, I am happy she will have the opportunity to spend more time with her own family and am confident she will bring the same comfort and peace of mind to her next employer. As a caregiver, PJ was extremely caring, compassionate, and flexible. She consistently arrived early or on time and handled the challenges of caring for two infants who grew into busy toddlers with remarkable patience. She was excellent at communicating with us about the girls' activities and well-being throughout the day, always maintaining a professional and thoughtful demeanor. While she prioritized following our parenting preferences, her extensive childcare experience—both with her own children and other families—proved invaluable to us as new parents. PJ made a positive and lasting impact on our family. PJ always went above and beyond for us. For example, she made last-minute alterations to flower girl dresses for our daughters this past September. She also helped us preserve cherished memories through photos and creative craft projects she worked on with the girls. PJ was instrumental in helping the girls prepare for preschool and kindergarten, engaging them with educational activities. She also provided safe and reliable transportation to and from their half-day preschool program, helping us navigate many important transitions seamlessly. we recommend PJ’s services highly to families seeking a reliable, honest, and dedicated caregiver.
