Hello, I am a proud parent of a 18-year-old son who is getting ready to graduate. I started doing this kind of work when I was 17. my grandmother became ill with Alzheimer's and my mother had a full-time job therefore I became the one to care for her. I have worked with many kinds of patients from Alzheimer's but not limited to quadriplegic. the clients I have had the honor of caring for have become part of our extended family.. I have had a lot of help from nurses and doctors teaching me.. with all that being said I love what I do and I take care of others as if that was my family member I ask myself three things every day 1. did I provide them the best care I was capable of 2. could I have done something different 3. if I was that person would I want to be care for by me just a self check list. I am available mornings , evenings or overnight care.
