This caregiver is suffering from something. She started out great, she was getting stressed as time went by. She’s consumed with doing hair instead of doing more important tasks. I tried to be patient; she was too emotional/irrational. I was uneasy about leaving Mom. She insisted that my puppy hated her. She lied to me. Her stories always had everyone else WRONG. The last day she was here she remarked about being tired, having a sick 15 yr old dog and a 33 year old son who needs a CPap machine…she cried at my mother’s bedside, went on and on. I mentioned that she could go home that day to rest, relax and pull herself together. Our morning routine was done & only had her here for extra help. She walked away, came back and shouted unexplainable things In the end…I had to ask her to please leave my home and wait on the porch for her “paid in full check.” She re-entered my home twice and I was frustrated…raised my voice above her ranting; I was on the brink of dialing 911 but got her outside and finished writing her check. I took it to the porch, laid it down and told her to take it and go! As I walked back into the house she asked me to stop “so that we could talk this through”…I didn’t respond but walked through the door, locked it and proceeded to lock the other two doors of the house. I had my son change the garage code last night. My neighbor heard all of the commotion, called to ask if she could help. She thought I should report this incident to the police. I reported to care.co. If she comes here again, I will call 911. I really don’t feel safe. Be careful with her. BTW, this has never happened to us before.
