Have 12 years of experience with this vocation, I say vocation because of the personal and rewarding nature of this position. Private duty and Facility experience. Weathered the pandemic at a nonprofit LTC. Experience in hospice care, Bathing, grooming ( former hairdresser) manicuring & pedicuring elderly . If the client wants full makeup and hair I'm willing to oblige. Getting those in my care dress and ready for the day it's a very important task I take pride in the appearance of my clients. Preparing for bedtime routine. I enjoy engaging my patients in conversation, appropriate activities. Or just watching a movie. I am a excellent cook. Willing to do light house keeping. Do not mind pets actually prefer them. Have the understanding this type of position one must have a can do attitude. Willing to go that extra step to ensure those place in my care are happy and comfortable. Non medical home care for not only seniors but anyone who may need help with activities of daily living.
