I am a Certified Nursing Assistant who is CPR/BLS certified that has been working in LTC facilities for over 20 years. I mainly have worked dementia units but I've also worked rehab units, cardiac units & geriatric psych unit so I know how to correctly & calmly handle any behaviors/hallucinations due to dementia or other disabilities. I help with ADL's such as bathing, grooming, feeding, housekeeping duties, managing meds, running errands, transporting to Dr. Appts, managing catheters & ostomy bags, using hoyer lifts & sit to stands, etc. I do not do this work just for a check, I truly love & enjoy helping and taking care of others, especially my elders.
