I am a Certified Nursing Assistant who is CPR certified & Covid vaccinated that has been working in LTC facilities for over 20 years. I mainly have worked dementia units but I've also worked rehab units, cardiac units & geriatric psych unit so I know how to correctly & calmly handle any behaviors/hallucinations due to dementia or other disabilities. I help with ADL's such as bathing, grooming, feeding, housekeeping duties, managing meds, running errands, transporting to Dr. Appts, managing catheters & ostomy bags, using hoyer lifts & sit to stands, etc. I do not do this work just for a check, I truly love & enjoy taking care of others. I originally got into this profession because my grandparents who raised me both had dementia & while caring for them I seen how much help & time is needed to care for our loved ones. Kristi was a God send. I needed help with my 90 year old mother who had dementia as i was the only caregiver and worked full time. She helped with absolutely everything and my mom loves her. Krist is a kind, caring soul who takes care of her as if she were her mother. Dependable, caring and helped with bathing, getting in and out of bed, dressing, and everything in between. My mom is now in a nursing home and Kristi switched locations and takes care of her there now too. Highly recommend.
