Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my over 20 years of teaching. As a Certified teacher with special education experience and a masters in curriculum and instruction, I believe every child learns best when complex concepts are broken down into manageable, engaging steps. I prioritize building confidence and critical thinking over simple memorization. By connecting lessons to your child's personal interests and utilizing diverse strategies like hands-on activities and visual aids, I ensure each session is tailored to their unique needs. I maintain open, consistent communication with parents to foster a collaborative environment that supports long-term academic success. Whether we are tackling math, science, or study skills, I find immense joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a challenging topic.
