About Millicent

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential! With a college degree and three years of tutoring experience, I create engaging and supportive learning environments. I actively listen to understand each student's needs and adapt my teaching using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate successes, and break down complex problems. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I can help with English and History at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I'm comfortable tutoring at your home, online, a library, or a coffee shop. I have a car and am comfortable around pets.
