About Oveta
Experience: 3 yrs
I retired in 2020 after a 45 year teacing career. Teaching elementary age students was rewarding because I strengthened their reading skills. Have taught elementary grades math skills. The bulk of my teaching has been with Middle School students, teaching English, writing skills, thinking skills, and novel studies. I enjoy motivating and giving encouragement so students can be proud of their successes feeling good about learning and themselves. I teach with creativity, patience, understanding and trust. Your child and I would be partners working together to enhance their skills. I look forward supporting you in your child's educational journey.
