About Oumie

Hiiii, I'm Oumie! I'm passionate about supporting children's growth and creating a safe, nurturing environment. I have 1 year and 8 months of experience as a substitute teacher, working with infants, toddlers, twos, and preschoolers. I enjoy helping children learn through play and creativity. I'm pursuing my bachelor's in Public Health at San Francisco State University. My interests include food insecurity, maternal and child health, environmental health, and food science. I also hope to explore medical interpreting or translation in the future. Outside of school and work, I'm a homebody who enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, and getting back into reading. I value family, kindness, and making a positive difference in others' lives.
