About Orion

Hi! I'm a reliable, energetic, and caring tutor and nanny with a strong academic background and a passion for working with kids. I received the Presidential Scholarship (a full ride) to UCSB, and I was actively involved in CSF, NHS, and Speech & Debate. I've always had a love for learning, and I enjoy helping kids build confidence in reading, writing, and beyond. Outside the classroom, I've worked with children in many roles from tutoring early literacy skills to coaching little league. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and creating a fun, safe environment where they can learn and thrive. I love outdoor activities like hiking and surfing, and I'm always happy to get kids moving, exploring, and trying new things. Whether I'm helping with homework, planning outdoor adventures, or just being a steady, supportive presence, I bring patience, energy, and a positive attitude to everything I do.
