Hello. I am married and a proud father of 7 beautiful children. Ages 13-24. Besides the natural experience of being a father for 24 years, I also have 3 years experience working with the Arc of Onondaga. I worked with 3 individuals all with different types of disabilities. I took my responsibilities extremely serious and I cared for them as if they were my family. My 16-year-old nephew has severe autism and he is always on my mind when it comes to caring for people with disabilities. I enjoy being in the helpful category of employment. Over the years I have watched and cared for 3 of my grandparents. I would visit them daily and assist in helping them with daily duties like preparing meals, medications, taking them to appointments, etc. Aside from spending the night when needed, I was there almost 3 to 4 days a week for over 4 years.
