I was a home care aid for approximately 3 years then I became a CNA in 2001 I worked in residential buildings carrying for seniors as well as tbi care. I've worked a private duty Alzheimer's.. then in June of 2007 my mother had a stroke and I became her care giver.. she had no usage of the right side of her body she was on a feeding tube so I had to learn how to use the feeding tube as well as give her her insulin and daily medications she also suffered from dementia.. I did this until she passed away June 2, 2013.. I also have experience with hospices care. I have been caring for my elders for over 24 years. since I was a child along with my mother cleaning our older relatives homes on the weekend shopping and making them meals I know how to use all medical equipment. I'm very reliable as well as dependable I have a compassion for my elders and I believe they should be treated with the greatest care of all I love what I do.. I treat my patients as if they was family
