About Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I'm looking to help your family out! I am 27 and went to Illinois State University for Family and Consumer Sciences (aka I am highly educated on family dynamics and child development). Here's a little about me thanks to some given prompts: I'd describe my childcare personality as fun-loving, caring, and proactive. I love working with kids because it's so natural to me. I grew up with 6 siblings and babysitting has been part of life since I was about 8 thanks to constantly being surrounded by kids. Officially I started babysitting at 12, being trusted alone with a 6-month-old, and I started nannying at 18. Since working full time, my childcare activities have included babysitting here and there. One thing you should know about me is I am pregnant myself and due mid March. My skills include doing activities WITH the kids instead of just watching them play, knowing how to calm down a tantrum, and getting kids who don't want to go to bed, to bed.
