About Olivia

I love working with children and have nannied on and off for the past 5 summers as well as babysat for the same three families consistently for the past 6 years. For the past four years, I have also worked for educational media, an early literacy program implemented in preschools across the country. Every week, I work one-on-one with students to help them develop their alphabet knowledge, comprehension skills and vocabulary. educational mediahas taught me how to work with the various needs and personalities that a classroom full of diverse learners presents. As a team leader, I lead a team of of 5 college students in planning and implementing bi-weekly classroom activities for a classroom of 18 preschool students. Through my experience nannying and working with preschoolers I have gained the skills to to create a safe and supportive environment for children, to organize activities, to support completion of schoolwork and to facilitate meal preparation and transportation.
