About Mariah

I have over 10 years of experience working with children, including more than 5 years as a professional nanny and 5 years in elementary education. I earned my Master's degree in Teaching and worked as an instructional aide in 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms for 2 years before teaching kindergarten for 3 years. I love helping children learn and grow, especially through early literacy, reading, play, and hands-on activities. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore. I was also previously Red Cross-certified as a lifeguard and worked as a swim instructor for 3 years. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and creating fun, age-appropriate activities. I value open communication with families and strive to provide dependable, compassionate care.
