About Olivia

I absolutely adore being a caregiver for children. I have been caring for the same few families for the past 5 years. These kids always become my best buddies. Parents compliment me on how hands on I am with their kids. I become a role model for them. A few characteristics that I value most in myself is my empathy, my warmth, and my quick, autonomous response to being helpful in and appropriately handling any situation. Caring for children is as equally rewarding to me as it is to the kids and their families. I would like to note that my mom is a neonatal intensive care nurse, and has raised me with a great understanding of how to care for those with medical conditions. As a NICU nurse my mom teaches CPR classes to new parents and so she frequently ensures that I am still comfortable in my ability to give CPR. I graduated from Virginia Tech this past May and will be begging UCONN's Accelerated Nursing program this coming January.
