About Olivia

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, compassionate, enthusiastic. I like working with kids because it provides for the opportunity to model care and responsibility, as well as the goofiness and fun that can be lost in the adult world. I'm looking for a job that allows for temporary work. I am flexible. I started working with kids when in middle school as a babysitter for three young kids. In high school I worked as a teachers aide in a day care and later as a day camp counselor. Most recently, this past summer, I spent two months as a camp counselor at a sleep away camp with campers aged 6-16. Additionally, I have four younger siblings and spent much of my childhood and teenage years babysitting them. In my spare time, I like to read, go on long walks, and spend time with friends and family. My skills include Red Cross certification for both CPR and First Aid, compassion and understanding, and an overall high energy personality.
