About Olivia

Hi families! My name is Olivia, I am 23 and live in the Back Bay. I'm currently in my first year of graduate school getting my Masters of Social Work! My goal is to become a school counselor and to work with children and adolescents. I started working with kids during highschool, I was a babysitter for a few local families and I also worked as a student mentor at an afterschool program. During my college years I took classes on play therapy and early childhood development, and spent 2 semesters volunteering at an elementary school and preschool. My most recent experience working with children was also an afterschool program, where I was the lead instructor for a kindergarten class. My skills include -Patience and empathy -Creativity and energy -Ability to redirect and teach coping skills for social and emotional development
