About Olivia

Hi! I'm a second year student at UNR studying social work as I plan to become a school counselor. I am the oldest child of two younger siblings, so I already have in household experience with kids. Outside of my house I've babysat all ages from new born to preteen since I was 15. My previous jobs include restaurant service, life guarding, volunteeering at Goolsby Elementary School, and working at the Child and Family research center (Daycare) on campus at UNR. I've spent the last summer nannying two babies ages 1 and 4, taking care of mornings, meals, nap times, bath, night time, and everything in between. I loved taking them to new places and teaching them new things. I'm very comfortable with kids all ages I like working with kids because they bring joy to any room they're in, and I find myself happier by just being around them. My skills include multitasking, deescalating situations, and creating a safe and fun environment for kids.
