About Halyn

Hi! I'm Halyn, a caring, responsible, and dependable caregiver with experience working with children and students of all ages. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology and am currently pursuing my master's in Biostatistics at UNR, where I also work as a Teaching Assistant. I taught Health for a year at a Catholic school for grades 6-8 and have assisted with K-8 school events, including field days, water days, and sports days. I've also volunteered with children and teens through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada and On the Run Sierras. As a former UNR Track & Field athlete, I enjoy staying active and keeping kids engaged. I also have experience tutoring college-level math and am happy to help with homework. I'm patient, organized, attentive, and reliable, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child in my care.
