About Olivia

I double-majored in Philosophy and Archaeology, with additional coursework in ECE. I first fell in love with childcare after reading books on RIE and Montessori methods-evidence-based models of care interest me greatly. I utilize a personalized range of strategies to encourage respectful relationships between children and others, the environment, and themselves. I love the outdoors, and especially birdwatching, and I partner with the Audubon Society on citizen science projects. I spent years working on a Late Roman archaeological site in Bulgaria. I am also a great mechanic, a multi-instrumentalist, and an avid chef with two years of formal French training. For previous families, I've given lessons on Gregorian chant, Latin, sewing, chemistry, gardening, and woodworking, just to name a few. I have current PA childcare clearances.
