About Olivia

Hello! My name is Olivia and I am recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I'm continuing my education by earning my multiple subject teaching credential and Masters this Fall. I'm looking for a summer position that will allow me to use my skills working with diverse groups of children to support families and have fun! As the child of a teacher, my mom ran a home care during the summers, and I was her assistant. At school, I interned at a regional center called Family First where I helped assess children with developmental delays and disabilities. as well as ran a social group for Latino teens diagnosed with Autism. I plan to be an elementary school teacher, and have found that I'm good at organizing schedules and structuring activities for a well balanced day. Some of my hobbies include fishing, embroidery, yoga, running, and water sports. I am a bilingual Spanish speaker. Three words to describe myself are organized, creative, and empathetic.
