Hello! I have 13 years of experience working with children, infants - 8 years. I recently moved back to San Rafael from Hawaii. I worked as a homeschool teacher in Marin for a group of kindergarteners during Covid and in Hawaii ran an arts and nature-based camp. Before this I was a Montessori teacher. I have taken courses through the Boulder County Council for Early Childhood and am Safe Sleep certified as well as infant and toddler CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I am also a practicing buddhist. I am loving, engaging, gentle, and skillful. I believe play, creative and self-directed exploration, is key to learning! I love to do creative activities such as sing-alongs and interactive story telling. I also love to spend time in nature with children. Overall supporting learning, inspiring joy, and ensuring your child's safety are my top priorities. I do charge a bit more for nannying because of my background in teaching.
