About Maria

My name is Maria, and I am an early childhood educator specializing in infants and toddlers. With over five years of experience managing a childcare program--and as a coach for other early childhood educators--I consider early childhood to be the most important stage of development. Children learn skills such as emotional regulation and how to structure outdoor play using their imaginations; I firmly believe that nature is a great teacher. I help children learn routines and new skills based on their own observations and interests. Drawing on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I let the children guide their own care while ensuring I provide the secure attachment that is so vital during these early years. very patient Happy adults are made in childhood.
