About Olawunmi

Hi! I'm Wunmi. I have over a year of senior caregiving and companionship experience, with volunteer experience from 2010 to 2022. It began with an elderly woman who lived alone and often shared that she was lonely. I visited her regularly for conversation, companionship, prayer, and encouragement, including visiting her when hospitalized. I also spent time with an older woman with memory difficulties who frequently repeated herself, providing patient companionship and prayer. I supported another senior recovering from an injury, helping calm and encourage her when she became worried about healing. I have a master's in Special Education, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and 10+ years supporting individuals with behavioral and developmental needs. I value patience, listening, encouragement, and helping people feel genuinely cared for.
