Hello! I'm looking for a part time position in Elder Care near Rougemont. I am a warm, kind and patient person, with a lot of empathy and understanding. I would like to care for an older person, and provide as much support as they need. I have cared for older persons until their passing, and I have experience caring for adults with low mobility and coming out of major surgeries (arthritis, open heart surgery, and transplant). In addition, I volunteered for 1 year at a retirement home. I worked with the physiotherapist in the Dementia and Alzheimer's wing. I learned about feeding patients, and have training helping adults with low mobility get out of bed, in chairs, dressed and bathed. I am also able to provide company to an aging person, to prepare meals, help with medication management, laundry, light cleaning, light gardening and any other tasks. I have a lot of positive energy and am happy to help.
