About Nyree

For the past 8 years, I've been passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a graduate degree in secondary education in humanities. I currently lead an 8th Grade ELA cohort at a Charter School located in Brooklyn NY, and believe that personalized support is key to academic success. I create an engaging, patient learning environment where students develop critical thinking skills. I adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is essential; I value open dialogue with students and parents to understand needs and build trust. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom. I would love to use my experience to help your student thrive in English Language Arts.
