About Nylah

Hi there! I am an upcoming college sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education. My passion for working with younger kids started early through caring for my own nieces and nephews, which inspired me to pursue this as a career. I officially began working with children professionally in 2022 as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) at the YMCA, where I learned how to lead groups, manage activities, and ensure a safe, fun environment. In a childcare position, my main goal is building strong, meaningful connections with both the children and their families. In my spare time, I love listening to music and shopping. I love bringing these hobbies into my daily routine with kids by introducing educational music, hosting fun dance parties, and finding creative crafts or learning activities. As an honest and hardworking leader, I am excited to bring my classroom knowledge, energy, and YMCA experience to your home!
