I am an energetic, patient, reliable, and fun certified Special Education teacher with over 16 years of experience of working with students with a wide range of disabilities. In my teaching career I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. My students have various needs ranging from Autism, learning disabilities in reading, writing, spelling, and math, ADD/ADHD, and emotional/behavioral concerns. I absolutely love what I do and have so much fun doing it! I believe you know your child better than anyone and so I take a collaborative approach to decide what is best for your child.

Yuan is a kind, friendly, experienced educator. She excels at catering her teaching to the individual needs of the student. Yuan taught my son for 2 years in a home school setting. She is amazing! She is very knowledgeable about different teaching methods and can adjust her style to find the student's best style of learning. She often had interesting and creative lessons that made learning fun! She is patient and sensitive, but she is not a pushover. She can hold the line and enforce positive discipline when it is needed. She has experience with regular students and many years of teaching special needs students. My son has special needs and she was excellent at understanding him and building a rapport with him. I highly recommend Yuan!
