About Nubia

I am originally from a small town called Melissa, TX and I moved to Washington in 2019. I am currently looking to care for children and/or pets about 20 hours a week but I am flexible. I love to be outdoors (rain or shine), cooking, home making, and reading books. My strengths lie in my ability to bring a sense of safety, peace, and nurturing into any environment. I am available for childcare, supporting new parents, pet care, food preparation, home organizing and decorating. I started working with toddlers when I was in middle school, sometime in 2014. I volunteered at church to be on the child care team and they assigned me to the 2 and 3-year-old's room. After that day I spent the next five years as a volunteer there - it's where I developed a passion for caring for little ones. My past childcare experience includes caring for infants and toddlers.
