About Nuala

Hi, I'm Nuala! I'm 29 and a lifelong Portlander. I began babysitting at 12 and stayed active through high school. After graduating, I became a full-time nanny for seven years, caring for three families: four years with two boys (ages 2 and 6 when we started), and about 1. 5 years each with two infants I watched grow into walking, talking toddlers. Alongside this, I also took on part-time and evening babysitting with other families. My approach is kind, consistent, and playful, pairing routines with fun and creativity. I love crafts, baking, outings, building with toys, and just talking with kids. During Covid, I supported two kids through remote schooling, gaining experience in homework help and structured learning. Outside work, I enjoy movies, music, walks with my dog, learning Spanish, and time with friends. I have reliable transportation and am flexible for pickups or outings.
