I love being around children. I have worked in daycare centers for a total of 19 years. I've worked with every age from newborns through preschool (5). I've been a private Nanny since 2010. I have two grown children of my own and two young grandchildren. I love being outdoors as much as I can, taking walks or going to the park. Fresh air is great! I love to do crafts with younger kids. I don't mind babies. I love watching them grow and learn to walk and feed themselves. I know the ABC's in sign language and some easy signs to help little ones communicate which can be helpful in stressful situations. For instance, if the young child wants a drink and just makes a sound, and I am not sure what that means, so I show them the sign for drink and repeat it as often as I can. In ending, I want to assure you that I have all of my clearances, and I can provide a copy to you if needed. I have also been trained in First Aid and CPR.
