I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. With a college degree and three years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in math and English, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I believe every student is unique. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to adapt my teaching methods. I vary my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I celebrate small successes and provide positive reinforcement. Open communication builds trust, so I strive to create a collaborative environment. Witnessing those "aha!" moments is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have CPR training and First Aid certifications. I tutor at student's homes, online, and in coffee shops. I'd love to help your student succeed!
