Hi, my name is Nikol. I have been caring for individuals of varying ages for the past 20 years. I started with babysitting children in my neighborhood and then worked with children with disabilities in college and after graduating and most recently I have been working with older adults. I never thought I would enjoy working with the elderly population but I find so much joy in it; I enjoy their stories, humor and wisdom they have to share. I have a degree in Occupational Therapy, currently as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I am starting an online masters program to progress my degree from OT assistant to a registered Occupational Therapist. In the OT profession, we work to enhance the lives of individuals and improve quality of life by teaching individuals how to be independent and safe performing self care tasks. I look forward to continuing to care for individuals and use my skills as an OT to provide exceptional care.
