Hello, I am a Master's student here in DC and am looking for some part time work babysitting, pet sitting, or a combination of both. Prior to grad school, I was a gymnastics coach for ~10 years. I coached all ages during that time, from 2-18+ year olds. I worked mostly in the ranges of 6-10 and 10-18, but there was never a time when I wasn't also working with younger kiddos. The USA Gymnastics organization has extremely strict background screening and safety trainings that all coaches must complete annually, so I have multiple certifications in ensuring the safety of kids in and outside of sports. I have also spent a lot of time babysitting outside of coaching this past year, looking after a variety of ages. I do have experience with 0-1-year-olds, just not quite as much. Because I'm expecting to be super busy with school, random week/weekend date nights, after school care, school vacation days would probably work best!
