About Nikki

Hi! My name is Nikki , I am 31 years old and seeking the opportunity to work with a family to help watch their kids and be a positive factor in their lives! I have been a special education teacher for the past 8 years, my husband and I are renting a cottage in RI with the idea of potentially relocating here permanently! Prior to teaching, I have been a nanny to multiple families, and have worked with children ranging in ages from 6 weeks up to 14 years old. I am patient, calm, friendly, and love being silly with kids! I follow parents' leads when enforcing household rules and communicate updates through their preferred method. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and educational games. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, and can assist with carpooling and light housekeeping. I am CPR and First Aid trained as well as a certified teacher K-6. I look forward to the opportunity to work with kids again in a non-structured environment where fun can be the priority!
