I am calm, nurturing, and intelligent. I'm looking for a job that is ideally with infants, toddlers, or younger children who love learning and need a reliable, calm, and nurturing caregiver. I am a certified elementary, reading, and early childhood teacher. I have worked as a nanny, a full time preschool and elementary teacher, a reading and math tutor, and as a long-term substitute teacher. As a stay at home mom, I raised very high energy identical twin girls from preemies to adulthood. I enjoy spending time with my husband, dogs, and college age twins. We enjoy going to the beach and visiting museums. I love reading and listening to audiobooks. One thing you should know about me is that I value a kind and nurturing environment with an emphasis on learning new things. My skills include patience with young children, planning age appropriate/developmentally appropriate activities, and organization.
