Experience: I grew up taking care of my triplet siblings, which started when I was 5 y/o, immediately after they were brought home from the hospital, and 2 of them were special needs; 1 was autistic and the other was born with an intestinal malformation defect (had multiple corrective surgeries) . I wasn't ready or prepared for this level of Big Sister responsibilities, but I ended up practically being their second mom; Unfortunately, the parents weren't around/available much. The Triplets are all grown up now and living their best lives, I couldn't be more proud of them!
