About Nicole

As a bit of background about me, during the pandemic I came home from nursing school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and became a preschool teacher at ESPN kidscenter. I fell in love with child care through my teaching job, and want to continue what I love outside of the classroom through home care. I now have 5 years of childcare experience in age groups ranging from infants to adolescents. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry. I am CPR, First Aid, epi-pen, Med. certified for all ages and fully vaccinated and boosted. I have 3 years of ECE lesson planning experience and am always searching for new fun and engaging teaching methods to keep up to date on best support practices for each developmental milestone. In addition to a curriculum based approach I am also always expanding my knowledge of Waldorf and Montessori teaching practices.
