About Nicole

I'm a psychology major with experience working with children through tutoring, mentoring, church programs, and volunteer work. I am currently tutoring an autistic 5-year-old and have developed strong patience, communication, and emotional support skills. I am certified as a Mandated Reporter and have volunteered with both a suicide crisis hotline and Teen Line, which strengthened my ability to stay calm, responsible, and compassionate in difficult situations. I have also learned DBT and CBT communication skills and strive to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for children and families. Additionally, I took care of my younger brothers growing up from changing diapers to walking them to school.
