About Nicole

Hi! I'd love an opportunity to tutor your children. I'm patient, caring and a good listener and love working with and teaching kids. I am comfortable teaching all basic subjects and SATs. I have an engineering degree from Vanderbilt and 1. 5 years experience tutoring. I worked at an after-school learning center where I taught math, science and English to students ages 6-18 (both one on one and in groups). I work closely with each student, get to know them and adapt to their individual learning needs. I also have experience teaching with VIPKID, a remote ESL learning platform, where I taught English to children in China ages 4-16. Currently, I privately tutor 2 students at their homes. I try to make learning fun and exciting with creative homework assignments, real-life examples during teaching, and interactive games and activities. I provide parent feedback after each of my lessons, to update the parent on what we learned and areas for improvement. I look forward to hearing from you!
