About Nicole

Hello! My name is Nicole, I have 2 years of experience working in Elementary Education as an Educational Assistant for the BEST Afterschool Program, where I facilitated 1st-5th grade small group and 1-on-1 math and reading support. I believe that learning should be an engaging, patient process that focuses on student success through learning methods that work best for them. When concepts feel challenging, I help break them into manageable steps and connect them to a student's personal interests. I prioritize open communication with parents to ensure we are working as a collaborative team. I believe that learning should be fun and all student successes should be celebrated. Every student is unique, so I hope to work with you and your student to create a learning plan/method that prioritizes growth and fun in learning. I truly look forward to helping your students build confidence and discover a genuine love for learning!
