About Nicole

Hello! My name is Nicole and I have been caring for children for most of my life. I started babysitting at the age of 12 and I could not wait to get started. I took multiple babysitting classes and bought the American Girl babysitting handbook. That love and dedication continue on in my adult life. I love creating long-lasting relationships with families and I take the responsibility for caring for their children seriously. My undergraduate degree is in psychology with a focus on child development. I also have a master's degree in theatrical costume design and construction! All this means that I have an understanding of how children operate AND I love to play dress up and I love to teach anyone to sew. My philosophy in caring for any child is to meet them where they are at while setting and keeping boundaries and rules set by the parents and me. Babysitting should be fun for the child, but should not cause a large disruption in their daily routine.
