About Emma

I started working with kids when I was 13. It started with babysitting jobs for neighbors and family friends, and then when I was 15 I got my first nanny job! I proceeded to work in childcare at 2 different facilities, and at one of those facilities I took a college course to receive my RBT. In my spare time, I like to draw and paint! I love to read books and writing in my journal! I love to be outdoors, go for walks, and swimming! One thing you should know about me is I am very outgoing and always make it a goal to build a unique and individualized bond with any child in my care! Children have been a comfort and safe place for me, mainly because of my mother running a daycare in our home all growing up! I strive to do the same one day! My skills include mastering each child's personality and understanding every child's needs are different and adapting quickly to them. I am creative with games and crafts and prioritize finding something to do to keep me and the children busy!
