As a lover of all creatures, I have been taking care of animals my whole life starting as a child and throughout my adult years as a teacher and parent. In my classrooms, I had a guinea pig for 6 years, a turtle, and fish. For the past 20 years, I have had dogs since they were puppies and currently have an 11-year-old black Labrador. My 7-year-old son and I live in the Presidio so our days are spent walking our dog throughout the beautiful landscapes where we live. We also have a leopard gecko and an aquatic African dwarf frog. For the past 5 years, I have taken care of 2 dogs in Alameda for 3 weeks at a time while staying at their home. More recently, I have been caring for a yellow Labrador at our home for weeks at a time since she was 3-months-old.
