My wife is a marketing executive and I run my own businesses. We have two sons, 10 and 14 years old, and moved fairly recently to the Grand Rapids area. We did a lot ourselves in the first year, but were running out of steam and bandwidth, and certain projects just kept getting pushed back. What we were looking for was not "someone to help clean" but a household manager who could: a) move various household projects forward b) shop for and prepare meals in advance c) keep up with some light cleaning (and we have a monthly cleaning service) We interviewed quite a few candidates last May and June, and saw immediately that Nicole was the one who "got it." She's proactive, anticipates needs, keeps us up to date on the projects, and is great with managing her time and her availability flexibly. the reduction in stress and chaos has been substantial. I would have no hesitation in recommending her for a similar role for your family!
