Literacy Tutor January 2019 to February 2019 To empower at-risk students to see their potential by providing consistent and ongoing mentoring. I supported students by providing one-on-one literacy enrichment and also advocating for supplies and created a reading corner. I also worked with staff to establish extracurricular activities such as cheerleading and creating a game room in the elementary school grounds. Program Coordinator, I Vista/ Palo Alto College - San Antonio, TX June 2017 to February 2018 Contracted to Palo Alto College to work with faculty, staff, students, community partners, and volunteers to build capacity and infrastructure for the community garden and managed PAC's farmer's market. However, my primary purpose is to increase food security. I assisted in creating and coordinating PAC's volunteer program. As a coordinator, I have expanded community partnerships and secured long-term resources.
