About Nick

I've worked for the past year as a Personal Care Assistant at Platinum Home Healthcare. I feel fulfilled building relationships with the people I care for as I help them in whatever ways they need. I'd describe my personality as attentive, helpful, funny. I like caring for seniors because I like getting to know all people, but in this work I get to know seniors who are outside my usual circles. I'm looking for a job that engages me on a personal level. My other job is being an artist, which is a very solitary lifestyle. Providing personal care is a way for me to connect with people and contribute to my community. I started caring for seniors when I became a certified personal care assistant through Platinum Home Healthcare last year. In my spare time, I like to read, see friends, watch movies, cook, paint, walk. One thing you should know about me is I like connecting with people through laughter and conversation. My skills include companionship, shopping, cooking.
