My name is Nicholas and I am a middle school special education teacher for Orange County Schools. I teach at A. L. Stanback school and have just finished my tenth year teaching. My experience is with individuals, ages 8 and above with significant and multiple cognitive and physical disabilities. I have experience with tube feeds, catheter changes, toileting, feeding, changing, complex communication systems, behavioral interventions, academic interventions, PT, OT, and SLP exercises, and supporting mobility for individuals with complex mobility needs. (Individuals who use wheelchairs, either part time or full time and individuals with quadriplegia.) Caregiving is one of my greatest passions. I enjoy being able to help someone live a comfortable and fulfilling life. I've formed some of my closest bonds with the individuals I have had the pleasure of caring for in the past. It's all about respecting their individuality, choice, feelings/emotions, and perspective.
