About Nia

Hi, my name is Nia! I'm 24 years old and a dedicated childcare professional with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science and a minor in Special Education. I currently work as a preschool teacher and am pursuing my Master's in School Counseling. I have 9 plus years of experience caring for children from newborns to middle school age. As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. I am CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable caring for up to three children, and confident in maintaining routines and household expectations. I also assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and travel when needed, and I prioritize clear communication with families. I am available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. , and during the school year I do require major holidays off.
